Roman Reigns has been away from WWE programming since losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. However, wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell feels that the star's return is on the horizon after what happened to Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown.
Solo Sikoa has taken control of The Bloodline in Roman Reigns' absence. The rising star crowned himself as The Tribal Chief on the blue brand this past Friday, with Jacob Fatu being the new Enforcer. However, Paul Heyman refused to acknowledge him, which led to the heel faction taking him out.
Talking about the events that transpired on SmackDown, Dutch Mantell stated on Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk that he sees Roman Reigns returning to WWE within a week or two.
"Well, I knew this was coming. This is a sign of tremendous timing in booking. We knew it was coming, everybody could see it was coming, it was just a matter of when. They set it up masterfully tonight and it’s at the end of the night, so everybody got the idea, 'Ok, something big is coming,' and they weren’t disappointed at all. I thought they would hold this off a little more to where Roman is either there or close to coming back. He may be close, who knows? After this, I don’t think he can hold off much longer. He’s going to have to show up within the next week or a couple of weeks and Paul Heyman will be missing." [From 24:41 onwards]
Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline are also involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. The two sides will collide in a six-man tag at WWE Money in the Bank.
