Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns were shown in an extremely emotional moment they shared together by WWE. Currently, both men are away from WWE with Reigns in the middle of his hiatus.
Roman Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40 in his match against Cody Rhodes. The star had a huge showing with him but at the end of the day, he was not the one who was going to win. He lost the match and as a result, decided to take some time away with a hiatus after reigning as the champion for multiple years.
Paul Heyman stayed behind, hoping to guide the Bloodline in his absence. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Solo Sikoa initiated a coup, kicking out Jimmy Uso and introducing Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the group, while calling himself the Tribal Chief. Eventually, when Heyman didn't acknowledge his position as the Chief, he kicked Heyman out violently, with the Bloodline putting him through a table.
In the A&E WWE Legends Biography that aired of Paul Heyman, Reigns and the Wise Man were both featured. The two were shown speaking to each other and embracing. It was a very tender moment where the two were making it clear how much they meant to one another. Paul Heyman only had the biggest words of comfort to give Reigns, saying that he appreciated him a great deal.

"I appreciate you more than I could ever f***ing tell you."
Paul Heyman has shown his loyalty to Roman Reigns
Heyman knew that he was in danger when confronted by the Bloodline in the absence of Roman Reigns. He knew that a wrong answer would see him receive the wrath of the faction that had not shown him an ounce of respect since the Tribal Chief left.
However, despite their wild nature and the punishment that would be coming his way, Heyman didn't even hesitate when it came time. Refusing to acknowledge anyone as the Tribal Chief when Reigns had not stepped out of the role himself, he told Sikoa that he did not acknowledge him. This led to punishment and being put through a table.
When Reigns returns, it remains to be seen if he chooses to punish the Bloodline for their assault on his Wise Man.
