Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes went head-to-head at WWE WrestleMania 39 and 'Mania 40. A former WWE host now thinks the two could square off again in only a few months.
The Original Tribal Chief returned last Saturday at SummerSlam after nearly four months of absence. He took out his cousin, the self-proclaimed new Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa, as the latter competed against The American Nightmare in a Bloodline Rules Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This attack allowed Rhodes to finish The Street Champion and pick up the win. While Rhodes and Reigns had a staredown, former host Matt Camp believes the two will eventually have a third match.
Speaking on his The Wrestling Matt podcast, Camp claimed the match could happen on the first episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix in January. He also pointed out that Rhodes might face The Rock instead that night:
"I don't know how long they wanna wait on Cody and Roman. Let me throw this out here, you know they wanna make a splash for Netflix, you know it, as they should. (...) That first episode on Netflix is gonna be loaded up. Do we see Cody [vs.] Roman on that? Do we see Cody [vs.] Rock on that? I think it's absolutely in play. Absolutely in play. I think we're getting a massive match," he said. [From 37:04 to 37:57]

WWE is reportedly planning two huge matches for Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41
While Roman Reigns targeted Solo Sikoa upon his return at SummerSlam, Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE plans to have the two cousins square off at WrestleMania 41.
Meanwhile, Melzer reported that the Stamford-based company plans to have another massive match between Cody Rhodes and The Rock. The two superstars had a heated feud before The Final Boss went on hiatus following WrestleMania 40. Before taking his leave, the Hollywood megastar promised The American Nightmare that he would return to go after his title.
"The top two matches of WrestleMania [41] are probably Roman [Reigns] and Solo Sikoa, and The Rock and Cody [Rhodes]. That's been known since WrestleMania [40], since the day after WrestleMania, they're booking way ahead as far the key stuff," Meltzer said.
While many fans anticipate the two potential WrestleMania square-offs, many wonder if Rhodes and Reigns would cross paths again. It would be interesting to see if Matt Camp's suggestion would come true.
