WWE Superstar Roxanne Perez recently issued a challenge to her long-time rival Cora Jade. Perez sent a message to Jade following her victory at Heatwave 2024.
On July 7, Roxanne Perez put her NXT Women's Title on the line against Lola Vice at Heatwave. Both stars delivered impressive performances, exchanging several high-octane moves. The match ended when Perez hit her opponent with Pop Rox twice and scored the pinfall.
On X/Twitter, Cora Jade, who is currently away from in-ring action because of an ACL injury, sent a message to Perez. She hinted at pursuing the NXT Women's Championship following her return.
"I was told an ACL injury heals in 6-9 months. That was in January :)," Jade wrote.

Jordynne Grace praised Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez faced TNA Wrestling's Jordynne Grace at NXT Battleground 2024 in a title match.
In an interview on PWInsider with Mike Johnson before Battleground, Grace discussed how she and Perez started their pro wrestling journeys at the same age. Both stars began training in Texas.
Jordynne Grace further highlighted how Perez was passionate about pro wrestling and understood the significance of their NXT Women's Title match.
"So I ended up leaving Texas before she did. So we're very similar in that regard. I know that she loves wrestling just as much as I have. You always see the videos of her at the Total Diva[s] thing with AJ Lee, like I know that she's a wrestling fan just as much as I am, and I know that she understands the magnitude of what this match could mean for both promotions," Grace said. Grace failed to dethrone Perez at Battleground but received widespread praise for her performance. It will be interesting to see whether she will make more appearances for the global juggernaut.
