A new chapter was added to the rivalry between Rusev and the duo of Enzo Amore and Big Cass last night on Raw. From the way things look right now, one can figure out that the WWE is preparing the platform for a duel between ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ and Cass which will most likely transpire at Roadblock: End of The Line.
After Raw went off air, Rusev returned to the ring to confront Enzo and Cass, which resulted in a dark match between him and Cass.
It all started off with the ‘Certified G’, along with his 7-foot tall partner, overhearing an argument between Rusev and his wife, Lana, and trying to play the peacemaker between them. ‘The True American Hero’ was already angered by this and Lana made matters worse by defending Enzo saying that he was only trying to help.

As her husband was walking off, ‘The Russian Princess’ took off her wedding ring and threw it to the ground in disgust. Amore returned the ring to Lana and asked her how she’s doing, leading her to reveal to him that Rusev takes her for granted and that he needed to be taught a lesson.

Even as ‘The Smacktalker Skywalker’ tried to give her good advice, she offered him to come to her hotel room. While contemplating with Big Cass whether he should accept Lana’s offer, she texted him a picture of herself showing her face and bare shoulders and he decided to go.
Moments later, Rusev enquired with Cass backstage about his wife’s whereabouts and the latter claimed that it is none of his business, causing a scuffle which prompted ‘The Super Athlete’ to challenge Big Cass to a match later in the night.
After entering Lana’s hotel room, Enzo Amore ended up getting seduced by her and was forced to take off almost all his clothes. It turned out to be a trap, though, as ‘The Ravishing Russian’ called her husband out and he delivered a sound beating to Enzo, leaving him in an unconscious state outside the hotel room.
Although the brutal attack by the former U.S. Champion was all that we saw during the live broadcast of Raw last night, there was more to it after the show went off the air. Rusev returned to the ring and started hurling insults at the ‘Certified G’ and America.
However, he was cut short by Big Cass who came out and ensured that ‘The Bulgarian Brute’ is cleared from the ring, much to the crowd’s pleasure. Here is a video of Rusev’s vicious assault on Enzo Amore earlier in the night:
