WWE Superstars put their bodies on the line and are larger-than-life figures for most fans. However, it's easy to forget they, too, age and go through illnesses. Unfortunately, as previously announced by Black Bart himself, the legend was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. Now there has been an update in the form of a fundraiser.
The star had previously announced that he had been diagnosed with the cancer that had already spread to his liver. He also let the fans know that he would not roll over and play dead.
He asked for prayers from his fans. In his career, the star wrestled all over the continent, including in WWE.
In the fundraiser started on his behalf, it was announced that stage four colon cancer was not curable, according to the doctors. His future was dependent on the fight he had in him.
"His cancer is not curable but it is manageable according to the doctors. How long he lives with this cancer depends on the fight in him and of course how his body reacts to the treatments."
The announcement mentioned that the legend was struggling financially due to the costs of treatment, some of which were not covered by insurance, as well as payments for gas and food. GoFundMe was set up to help with that.
WWE Hall of Famer JBL played a vital role in setting it up and has already donated $1000.
We at Sportskeeda send our best wishes to the legend for his fight against cancer.
