Sami Zayn confronted by 22-year-veteran and controversial new star in huge Intercontinental title shake-up on RAW

Sami Zayn has never been one to shy away from a challenge. While the thought of beating Gunther was an uphill battle, he achieved it. However, things are only getting started as he was confronted by two new potential contenders.

Sami Zayn was on RAW this week and expressed his sympathies towards the rest of the Alpha Academy while proclaiming that his chapter with Chad Gable was over following his win at Clash at the Castle 2024.

Just a few minutes into his promo, Sami Zayn was interrupted by rising star Bron Breakker, who has been making life hell for Ilja Dragunov, Ricochet, and General Manager Adam Pearce on RAW. Not only this but 22-year veteran Sheamus came out to once again make his claim for the Intercontinental Championship.

This set up a bout between Sheamus and Bron Breakker for later in the episode - something that Sami told them to do to determine the new number-one contender for the Intercontinental title.

Bron Breakker has been one of the hottest newcomers on the scene since his main roster call-up, and he has been nothing short of destructive.

Sheamus, for his part, continues to express his desire to win the one title he has never won in his illustrious career - the Intercontinental Championship.
