Friday's WWE SmackDown saw drama surrounding The Bloodline heat up in a major way on the road to Survivor Series: WarGames. The main event for the premium live event is close to being finalized after a massive shocker this past Friday night. Sami Zayn recently rejoined the fold and has now issued a bold message after Friday's melee.
The OG Bloodline will be represented by Zayn, Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and a fifth partner yet to be determined, in the double-cage WarGames structure later this month. The New Bloodline's team will feature Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed. Friday's SmackDown saw the eight superstars brawl until Reed surprised everyone by showing up to help drop The Original Tribal Chief, then side with the new Tribal Chief and his henchmen.
The Great Liberator and his Anoa'i family brethren are standing tall in the face of overwhelming odds now that The King of Monsters has joined Solo. Zayn took to Instagram after the SmackDown swerve and shared a photo of himself with Roman, Jimmy, and Jey preparing to do battle on Friday night. Sami included a defiant, one-word caption with the photo.
"OGB," Sami Zayn wrote with the photo below.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
SmackDown ended with Reigns trying to call Paul Heyman, presumably for an assist. It's believed that The Wiseman will return to the storylines with the fifth man for the OG Bloodline, rumored to be Seth Rollins, but fans have also heavily speculated on Brock Lesnar.
Sami Zayn seemingly teases big name for The Bloodline
The OG Bloodline still needs one man to join them to even their upcoming battle against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Bronson Reed in WarGames at the WWE Survivor Series PLE later this month. While names like Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman himself have been rumored as the fifth partner for Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn, the front-runner for the spot is Seth Rollins.
The Visionary has an obvious history with The Original Tribal Chief due to their time together in The Shield. In what many are seeing as a teaser for Rollins as the fifth man, Sami took to Instagram to share a throwback photo that showed him trying to get Roman and Seth to do the Shield-style fist bump.
"The more things change..." Sami Zayn wrote with the photo below.
WWE referenced the same segment on WWE RAW when Zayn tried to recruit Rollins earlier this month. The top SmackDown faction is returning to WarGames this year after last working the historic match in 2022. That match saw Reigns, The Usos, Zayn, and Sikoa defeat Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, and Pete Dunne.
