Sami Zayn teamed up with a legendary duo after SmackDown went off the air. He faced Finn Balor and Carlito of The Judgment Day, along with wrestling veteran Pete Dunne.
SmackDown ended explosively, with The Bloodline again standing tall over Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso. Reigns was beaten down after nearly putting the Ula Fala on again, and it seems like the odds are continuously stacked against him in his war against his own family.
As for ex-honorary Bloodline member Sami Zayn, he appeared after that to team up with legendary duo Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to beat the trio of Finn Balor, Carlito, and Pete Dunne in the post-SmackDown dark match.

It's unclear what the direction is for Sami Zayn following his World Heavyweight Championship loss to Gunther on RAW recently. Many had hoped that he would have his moment, but it would never happen on an episode of RAW.
Either way, he managed to bounce back and gain a huge victory over two members of The Judgment Day and veteran Pete Dunne, who has also been acting as a backstage producer while wrestling.
While it's not uncommon for RAW stars to wrestle on SmackDown dark matches, the inter-brand crossovers are reportedly being planned until Survivor Series.
