Former WWE star Afa Anoa'i Jr. recently spoke about Jacob Fatu's interference during the main event of SummerSlam. The star came out in an attempt to help Solo Sikoa win the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes.
Fatu rushed in to help Solo Sikoa during the Bloodline Rules Match. The Samoan Werewolf destroyed Cody and put Solo on top of him for the pin. However, when the champ kicked out, Jacob lined him up on the announcer's desk and hit the Samoan Splash on him through the table. But Fatu also took a major impact of the move and seemingly injured his leg.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda, Anoa'i hoped that it was nothing serious. He mentioned that Jacob Fatu had a lot of momentum at the moment and an injury could derail his push.
"Man, I hope he's working us. He needs all the momentum that he has right now. [From 1:00:38 onwards]

Wrestling veteran Kenny Bolin also felt that Jacob Fatu looked uncomfortable after the spot. He pointed out that the star immediately grabbed his leg after the spot and stayed at ringside for the remainder of the encounter.
"They worked me on that one. Number one, he sold it immediately. Number two, he laid there and I didn't see a reason for him to do it and he look real f****ng pissed. If I had to guess, if he worked me, great, I love getting worked. That means you're f****ng good at what you do. I'd say that hurt." [From 1:00:15 onwards]
During the post-show press conference, Triple H clarified that Fatu was banged up and got medical attention after the show.
