Seth Rollins has disclosed how ladder matches work in WWE. He said that everything is planned several days in advance to avoid injuries and ensure everything goes according to plan.

The Visionary has competed in several ladder matches during his career and has won a few of them. At Money in the Bank 2014, he won the coveted contract and successfully cashed it in at WrestleMania 31 to win his first WWE Championship.

During a recent appearance on Jason Khalipa Podcast, Seth Rollins explained how ladder matches are mapped out. He said the competitors go through everything beforehand, so they know what to expect during the bout.

"The ladder match that you mentioned, that's a different animal. So if there's seven guys and a bunch of ladders and crazy stunts, the amount of on-the-fly [adjustments is] going to be very slim. Like that match is going to be talked about probably in advance, maybe a day or two, a week or two. And they'll go over pretty much everything they're going to do as sort of an ABCD order," said Rollins.

The Visionary added:

"It's just a safety level, you know, paramount. You got to make sure that people come out of that not—They're going to get hurt because, yes, we are falling. They are real ladders. Accidents do happen. You get a lot of bumps and bruises. You come out of those ladder matches, and your back is just beat to pieces." [32:12-32:53]

Seth Rollins will finally get his hands on CM Punk on WWE RAW next month

The Visionary has been feuding with CM Punk for a while. The two stars have had issues with each other for years. Seth Rollins debuted in WWE as a member of The Shield, a stable that was originally associated with The Second City Saint.

Their reported WrestleMania XL match didn't happen due to Punk's injury, but the two stars will finally collide on the January 6 episode of RAW on Netflix. This is still a huge match, and it will be interesting to see who emerges victorious.
