Seth Rollins has been away from WWE programming since the RAW after SummerSlam. However, The Visionary could soon return to action as teased by him during one of his outside-the-squared-circle appearances.
Seth Rollins was a guest referee during the match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk at SummerSlam. He looked set to feud with Punk after the Biggest Party of the Summer but was attacked from behind by Bronson Reed on RAW. The powerhouse destroyed Seth with six Tsunamis, leaving him coughing blood. Reed's attack was a kayfabe reason to write Rollins off WWE programming as the star is reportedly suffering from a chronic issue and needs time off for healing.
The former World Heavyweight Champion has been regularly seen at football games and shows during his time away from the squared circle. During one of such appearances, he teased his return at Bad Blood, stating that you do not want to miss WWE's upcoming premium live event.
"Don't forget to watch SmackDown, Fridays on USA and October 5th, only on Peacock WWE brings to you Bad Blood. You're not gonna wanna miss it, [laughter]" Rollins said.

It was clear from Rollins' voice and his trademark laugh that there was a hint of teasing in his delivery. If the star were to return, Bad Blood could serve as the perfect opportunity.
Seth Rollins will reportedly face CM Punk at WWE WrestleMania 41
While the feud between Seth Rollins and CM Punk may be on pause for now, the duo are bound to clash down the line. The two fierce rivals will reportedly face off at WrestleMania 41. The Best in the World is currently embroiled in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre. The RAW stars will face off inside the Hell in a Cell structure at Bad Blood, with the score between them tied at one win apiece.
Rollins, meanwhile, has a score to settle with Bronson Reed and is expected to go after the powerhouse upon his return. Reed has continued to terrorize the WWE roster after taking out Seth and will face Braun Strowman in a 'Last Monster Standing' match on RAW this week.
Seth's last outing to the squared circle came at Money in the Bank where he came up short against Damian Priest in the World Heavyweight Championship match. Drew McIntyre also cashed in his Money in the Bank contract during the match but was unable to walk out with gold after interference from CM Punk.
