WWE Superstar Seth Rollins is set to face Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event this Saturday. According to a veteran, The Visionary will be the one to win the match, but with some surprising interference.
Tensions in The Judgment Day have been on the rise lately, especially between Damian Priest and Finn Balor. Their recent backstage confrontation led to more speculation about Finn possibly causing Damian to lose his title at WWE Money in the Bank. If that does happen, it is unlikely that the star will remain in the faction.
Speaking on the latest edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, veteran journalist Bill Apter stated:
"Here's what I think is gonna happen... I think Damian Priest is going to lose with the interference of Finn Balor, who is having a lot of problems with him at this point. He's told Finn Balor on Monday night RAW not to interfere, leave him alone. I think that's gonna cost him the belt. And I think what's gonna happen, is Damian Priest is going to become a fan favorite with Rhea Ripley coming to be with him after she finds out about this whole thing with Dominik and Liv Morgan going on, and there is Finn Balor involved." WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long also thinks Damian Priest will lose
According to Teddy Long, Damian Priest losing his World Heavyweight Championship is as likely as Seth Rollins coming up short.
On the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if it was too early for The Judgment Day member to end his reign. Teddy responded:
"No I don't. No, because I think what people you know, really want, as I watched that last night, I looked at Seth Rollins' promo and everything. And I think that's exactly what the people want. They want him to win that belt back. They are not concerned about whether it's too early or whether it's too late." [5:20 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen how the match at WWE Money in the Bank will turn out.
