Former WWE Champion Seth Rollins has been vocal about his dislike towards CM Punk. However, The Revolutionary recently broke character on-screen and made a bold claim about The Second City Saint.
On the January 6, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, Punk and Rollins faced each other in a highly anticipated match that had been brewing for nearly a decade. Many assumed the two WWE Superstars would clash at WrestleMania XL after The Voice of The Voiceless made his triumphant return at the 2023 Survivor Series.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, The Visionary stated that the 46-year-old star ruined Randy Orton's comeback at the premium live event in Chicago. According to Seth Rollins, The Best in the World's return also derailed the efforts of all ten superstars involved in the Men's WarGames Match.
To everyone's surprise, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion seemingly broke character and jokingly claimed that CM Punk is not selfish and is motivated by a desire to help others:

"So yeah, just another kind of throw that on the pile of disgusting CM Punk moments. But don't worry, he's not selfish. He's in it for helping everybody else," Rollins said.

Seth Rollins opens up about his current goals in WWE
The Visionary has been with the Stamford-based promotion for nearly 15 years. Throughout his WWE career, he has achieved Grand Slam Champion status twice, signifying that he has won every active title in the company.
During the same interaction with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Seth Rollins stated that he is seeking a better balance between his personal life and his demanding WWE career, while still maintaining his ambition to main event WrestleMania:
"I'm trying to be healthy; trying to be happy; trying to find more of a balance between my home and work so that I'm not just prioritizing whatever next goal is on the horizon. Obviously, you work every year to main event WrestleMania and to be the biggest act in our industry. I think when I kind of don't care about that it might be time to hang it up," he said.
Fans will have to wait and see who will be Seth Rollins' opponent at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
