Seth Rollins made his return to WWE RAW earlier tonight in what was considered a major shock. The former World Heavyweight Champion was clearly looking for a way back into the title picture, and Damian Priest was on hand to give him the match.
After teasing entering the Money in the Bank ladder match, Priest offered him a one-on-one match for the title at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event event instead, which he accepted.
The Visionary then made it clear that despite the change of Champion, it was still Monday Night Rollins, something that he later reiterated on social media following his segment.
Priest tried to claim that it was no longer Monday Night Rollins since the former champion had been missing for more than two months, but despite getting knee surgery just weeks ago, Rollins has seemingly recovered fast enough to return to WWE and wrestle at Money in the Bank in less than three weeks time.
Reports suggested that Rollins would be out of action for several more months and could be looking at a return around WWE SummerSlam, but it seems that he has healed much faster than expected and is now on the card for Money in the Bank as part of the first match announced.
