Shane McMahon was rumored to be against his sister, Stephanie McMahon's relationship with current WWE CCO Triple H. He and his father, Vince McMahon, recently revealed how he truly felt when the couple got together.
Shane O'Mac appeared on Netflix's new Mr. McMahon docuseries to discuss his father's and family's lives. On the show's fifth episode, the McMahon family addressed the relationship between Stephanie and Triple H. The Billion Dollar Princess disclosed that her father always encouraged her to be with someone like The Game. However, her brother would comment, "Not Triple H."
Vince recalled his son's reaction when Stephanie entered a relationship with the 14-time World Champion, disclosing that he questioned if he would let his daughter date a wrestler. He revealed that Shane was totally against it.

"Shane was very much against it. Vehemently so," he said. "Shane came to me and said, 'Dad, you're letting your daughter date a wrestler?' 'Shane, that's who I am. I'm wrestling, I'm performing, I don't know what you mean by that.' And so, to me, it made sense for Stephanie to date and marry someone like Paul," the former WWE Chairman added.

Shane O'Mac also commented on the subject, pointing out that not dating the boss' daughter was supposed to be a basic rule.
"You know, Storylines 101, don't date the boss' daughter," he explained.
Triple H and Stephanie's relationship segregated the McMahon family, says veteran
On a recent episode of the Cafe de Rene podcast, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman also discussed Shane McMahon's feelings towards his sister's relationship with WWE CCO Triple H.
Although he admitted that he did not know how Shane O'Mac truly felt about it, despite the rumors suggesting he was against it, The Coach claimed the romantic relationship segregated the McMahon family.
"I don't know how Shane feels about it but I'm saying that I've always felt that, and a lot of people backstage, I mean everybody talked about it because it was a thing. They were in a storyline and then it turned into a real-life love affair and they're still together to this day, so good for them. But I think that really segregated the McMahon family because Vince had to deal with it because Triple H was one of the biggest stars he had at the time and ultimately, you know, you've seen it all play out over the last 20 years," he said.
The Game and Stephanie McMahon tied the knot in 2003 and now have three daughters. The couple will celebrate their 21st anniversary next month.
