Shane McMahon has been in and around WWE for a while under the previous regime. Recently, former on-screen personality Matt Camp revealed how Shane went into business for himself when he challenged The Undertaker once.

Shane McMahon's best work in WWE has been at WrestleMania. The son of a billionaire often did high-end spots during The Show of Shows. McMahon once had a Hell in a Cell match at the event against The Undertaker, and the star garnered high praise for the death-defying drop from the top of the cell in Texas.

Speaking on The Wrestling Matt, former on-screen personality Camp revealed that Shane went off script on WWE: Last Ride Post-Mortem and challenged The Undertaker to a rematch inside Hell in a Cell after WrestleMania 36. Camp indicated that this was an extremely bold move by the younger McMahon as his father Vince would not have been happy about the incident.

"At the end, without us having a clue [...] he just goes into business for himself, and he challenges Undertaker to another Hell in a Cell match. He was like, 'We should do it again,' [...] I believe if you go back and watch, it makes the show. You do not do that in Vince McMahon's WWE. If you're not going to come through the match, you don't tease it," said Camp. [From 2:13 to 3:20]

Shane McMahon's last appearance for WWE was at WrestleMania 39

WWE's landscape changed drastically overnight when Vince McMahon took a step back from his duties and left for a while. The McMahon family has been a huge part of the Stamford-based company for over four decades.

After Vince McMahon's departure, Shane and Stephanie McMahon's appearances reduced as well. However, Vince returned to the company when the former chairman made a deal with Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc. He ultimately had to resign from the board and the rest of his responsibilities owing to the Janel Grant lawsuit filed against him earlier this year.

Last year, Shane McMahon made a shocking appearance at WrestleMania 39 in California. McMahon went head-to-head with his former rival, The Miz, on the event's second night.

Unfortunately, Shane tore his quadriceps and was replaced by Snoop Dogg. This was his final appearance for the Stamford-based company, as Shane McMahon has made no televised appearance since.
