"She's kind of an idiot" - Bayley takes major shot at former champion ahead of WWE SummerSlam

Bayley took a shot at a popular WWE star ahead of SummerSlam and claimed that she was an idiot. Tonight's edition of SmackDown will be the final show before the Premium Live Event tomorrow night.

In an interview with Emily Mae for WrestlingNews.co, the 35-year-old was asked if she was concerned about former NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton. The Buff Barbie won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this month and can cash in for a title match whenever she wants.

"Well, I would by lying if I said no. I just know, one thing is we know that Tiffany's a little, she's kind of an idiot. You know? I'm sure she has little games of her own but she is also being a part of Nia (Jax), Nia is teaching her. Nia has all of the experience. So, Tiffany has the drive to want to be the best, the ambition to want this title, but she also has now the experience of Nia Jax. But I don't think I need to worry about her as much as Nia needs to worry about her," she said. [From 01:32 - 02:03]

Bayley wants to have a mixed tag team match with retiring WWE legend

WWE Women's Champion Bayley has pitched the idea of teaming up with John Cena in a mixed tag team match someday.

John Cena announced he would be retiring in 2025 during his appearance last month at Money in the Bank. During her interview with WrestlingNews.co, Bayley disclosed that she would love the chance to team with Cena before he hangs up his wrestling boots for good.

"I would love, Cena if you are watching this, I would love to have a mixed tag team match with you someday. That is just like, I mean, who doesn't? But I feel like I've kind of earned it, right? We go way back to when I was like twelve years old. So, I am going to throw myself in there for one of those," said Bayley. [From 02:31 - 02:50]

Nia Jax challenged Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship in the main event of WWE Elimination Chamber earlier this year in Australia but failed to win the title. It will be fascinating to see if she can capture the WWE Women's Championship from Bayley tomorrow night at WWE SummerSlam.
