WWE RAW has kicked off the Netflix era with a bang, and Sheamus can't wait to show off his abilities. The Celtic Warrior recently shared a major update ahead of his first-ever match on the streaming platform.
The 46-year-old is all set to take on Ludwig Kaiser tomorrow night in what is sure to be yet another intense match in this heated rivalry. But, after sharing a picture of himself on Instagram, he has given Kaiser something to worry about.
In the picture, he can be seen shirtless and flexing his muscles. As many in the comments section noted, the 12-time champion is back in shape, months after his return.
Upon his initial return from injury two weeks after WrestleMania 40, Sheamus was mocked by the WWE Universe and a few superstars in the locker room for the weight he had gained. But now, it looks like he has been working hard on his Celtic Warrior Workouts, and is back to full fitness.
"Netflix and… kill @wwe_kaiser Tomorrow, The Banger Era begins. #WWERAW," wrote Sheamus.
His post on Instagram also came with a warning for his opponent Ludwig Kaiser. It will be interesting to see how things go down during their match on Monday Night RAW.
Sheamus recently opened up about his sudden weight gain
As mentioned earlier, Sheamus was mocked by many in the WWE Universe and the locker room for his appearance upon his return. He had gained significant weight and was nowhere near the levels of fitness that had previously been associated with him. Recently, he opened up about it and revealed the reason behind his weight gain.
Speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, The Celtic Warrior was asked about his return and the now infamous "burger after burger" chant. Van Vliet wondered if being called back early from injury had led to the chant. However, the 46-year-old claimed it was his fault, as he had let himself go after getting injured, and ended up having a bit too much Guinness.
He also revealed that he had found out he was returning the same week it was announced. So, he probably didn't have enough time to get back into fighting shape. But, safe to say based on the recent Instagram post, he is fit as a fiddle now.
