Bill Apter recently discussed a possible plan for The Rock at WrestleMania 41. The Hall of Fame journalist felt a mega feud involving The Final Boss and John Cena could be in the cards leading up to 'Mania season.
John Cena and The Rock have a storied history, with the two headlining back-to-back WrestleManias in 2012 and 2013. They even came face-to-face this year on Night Two of WrestleMania during the main event match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.
This week on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter acknowledged that it was too early to speculate as plans for The Show of Shows were still up in the air.
Apter then pointed out that this would also be John Cena's last WrestleMania, and he could be itching to go up against Rocky one last time. The Hall of Famer said WWE could easily integrate Cena into the Bloodline story and have him confront The Final Boss in a shocking twist.

"You never know where this is gonna go because that's gonna be John Cena's last hurrah. And maybe Cena gets involved in this whole Bloodline angle too and we wind up seeing The Rock against John Cena." [From 1:27 onwards]
Earlier this year, the 52-year-old star was heavily involved in the build to The Show of Shows, taking up the character of The Final Boss. He even headlined Night One of WrestleMania XL in a tag team match, combining forces with Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
It will be interesting to see what plans WWE has for The Rock and John Cena as the two megastars near the end of their respective careers.
