SmackDown star's surprise appearance on WWE RAW ends in defeat

Ricochet and Andrade faced the team of JD McDonagh and SmackDown's own Santos Escobar during the latest episode of WWE RAW.

The Judgment Day has been seeking retribution against Andrade ever since the latter betrayed them to align with Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania 40. Last week, Dominik Mysterio faced Andrade in singles action on WWE RAW, but Andrade emerged victorious once again.

Following the match, JD McDonagh launched an attack on Andrade, prompting a two-on-one assault. As the beatdown continued, Ricochet, who has been feuding with The Judgment Day, intervened to even the odds. Hence, a tag team match was made official for this week's WWE RAW.

However, during the show, Dominik appeared wearing a sling, indicating that he was nursing some injuries. Despite this setback, he announced that he had arranged for his friend Santos Escobar from SmackDown to step in on his behalf to take on Andrade and Ricochet.

Andrade and Ricochet began the match with a strong start, with Ricochet executing stereo dropkicks and Tijeras to gain control. However, Dominik, who was at ringside, proved to be a nuisance, as his interference with cheap shots drew huge boos from the crowd.

During the closing stages of the bout, Andrade delivered a spinning back elbow to Escobar. He then capitalized on the opportunity and executed his finishing move, The Shadow, on McDonagh to secure an impressive win.

It will be interesting to see how The Judgment Day will deal with Andrade and Ricochet on RAW going forward.
