Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns will face Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa at WWE Bad Blood on October 5. Legendary booker Dutch Mantell recently gave his take on how the much-anticipated tag team match might end.
On April 7, Rhodes defeated Reigns at WrestleMania XL to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. Following the show, Sikoa unofficially replaced Reigns as The Bloodline's Tribal Chief. He also created a new-look version of the faction on SmackDown alongside Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
Mantell told Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk host Rick Ucchino that he expects Sikoa to lose via pinfall in Atlanta, Georgia:
"I think they're gonna pin Solo. You see, they don't need to do any more with Solo. I mean, the story is there. If you have them [Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns] get beat and then they argue with each other, now you're running two stories at one time. Which one takes precedence? It's gotta be the tag match, so I would put Cody and Roman over and then let my TV do the rest of the work." [7:37 – 8:03]

Dutch Mantell on Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns' future after Bad Blood
The unlikely allies have headlined WrestleMania against each other twice in the last 18 months. In August, Roman Reigns returned after a four-month absence and made it clear he wants to recapture Cody Rhodes' title.
Although a ready-made storyline is in place for a third match between the two, Dutch Mantell does not think it will happen immediately after Bad Blood:
"The background is laid down. It's there. Now let's see how far they [go]. Is this the time to pull the trigger on it or do they wait just a little bit longer? I'm gonna say they're gonna wait a little bit longer. That's what I think." [6:53 – 7:07]
Mantell also offered his thoughts on whether a possible betrayal could take place at Bad Blood.
