SmackDown has recently been a stale show, one that people could skip over without the fear of missing anything. But last week’s SmackDown was entirely different. It had everything a fan could hope for. Debuts, championship match, storyline development and most of all some promising moments heading into Raw.
Fans would hope that the SmackDown would continue that trend like Raw fired off for two weeks in a row. But, sadly for us, that wouldn’t be the case. This week’s SmackDown will suffer from a lack of star power as WWE has not listed most of its major stars to appear on this week’s SmackDown.
According to wrestlinginc.com, Roman Reigns, New Day, Charlotte, Kane, The Wyatts, Sheamus, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, The Dudley Boyz and many others will be absent on this week’s edition of SmackDown as they are heading to the European Tour directly from Raw.
It is also speculated that the next chapter of Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho rivalry will occur in this week’s SmackDown. United States Champion Kalisto, Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Chris Jericho, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens, Alberto Del Rio, Big Show, Rusev, Ryback, Dolph Ziggler, Natalya, Alicia Fox and others will be available for this week’s SmackDown.
Could WWE deliver another interesting edition of SmackDown with a limited star power? Wait till Thursday to find out.
