"So excited" - Rhea Ripley sends a message to husband and AEW star Buddy Matthews on Instagram

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley has responded to Buddy Matthews' latest Instagram story. The AEW star had written that it was time to go home to "Mami & kids" after a long media tour.

Buddy Matthews has been a mainstay in Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling for over two years now. His wife Rhea Ripley is quite possibly the most over female star in WWE today.

In a new Instagram story, Buddy Matthews expressed his excitement over returning from a media tour and coming back to Ripley and the duo's pets. The Nightmare reshared the story and added the following: "So excited."

Rhea Ripley recently had a chat with TVInsider and opened up about several topics, including her married life with Buddy Matthews.

"There is a level of respect. Luckily for me, [my husband] Buddy [Matthews] is in the business, so he knows what goes on and is needed from us. He understands my schedule, storylines, everything. He gets it. He was in the same sort of thing with Aalyah Mysterio. I feel like us keeping communication of what is going on is the level of respect that is needed between an actual relationship and an onscreen relationship. Many WWE fans want to see Buddy jump ship to the Stamford-based promotion somewhere down the line. For now, though, Matthews seems happy with his standing on the AEW roster.
