Almost every WWE fan believes Solo Sikoa has betrayed Roman Reigns as he took over The Bloodline in The Head of the Table's absence. However, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman thinks that may not be the case.
In Reigns' absence, Sikoa anointed himself The Tribal Chief. While he eliminated Jimmy Uso on the first SmackDown following WrestleMania XL, he did the same to Paul Heyman after The Wiseman refused to acknowledge him a few weeks ago on the blue brand.
As he created a new Bloodline group alongside Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, the former Enforcer claimed Reigns would have to acknowledge him if he returned. Many now expect the former Undisputed WWE Champion to return to confront his cousin. However, Jonathan Coachman thinks that might not happen.
On The Last Word, the wrestling veteran said Reigns could have ordered Sikoa to commit all these actions.
"What I said I think is gonna happen because they've allowed Solo, Tommy, to use exactly the same verbiage as Roman, 'I'm The Head of the Table,' 'You acknowledge me.' And to me, even if it's family if somebody's using my shtick and they're calling themselves my name, I'm pi**ed. I'm not having it. Unless Roman told him to," Coachman said.
The former interim RAW general manager claimed the two cousins could hug upon The Tribal Chief's comeback and the latter could reclaim his position at the head of the table.
"And if Roman told him to and he shows up and all of a sudden he's standing there, is he gonna help Cody? Why would he help Cody? Cody just beat him for the title at WrestleMania. But then Solo has been using his name. So, now, which one does he beat up? And then to me, you get the big hug. Cody somehow still goes over because he's gotta keep the title. Then Roman retakes his position at the front [head] of the table and everybody else falls back in line." [35:37 - 36:36]
When will Roman Reigns return to WWE?
Speaking on The Last Word, Jonathan Coachman's co-host, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci, addressed the potential return of Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. He claimed The Tribal Chief would 100% make his comeback on Saturday.
Carlucci also pointed out that he believed the former Undisputed WWE Champion would not return alone. Instead, he might have his Wiseman by his side and potentially The Usos or one of them.
"I think it's gonna be sometime during the match. And I wanna say Jimmy and Jey but I'm a little hesitant on the Jey part of it. I wanna say Jimmy is gonna come with him and I know The Wiseman. And it may be just Roman and The Wiseman. So, that music is gonna hit, and just for the effect of listening to that crowd pop and not seeing this guy in three months. And we all know he left the [sic] heel but Solo's made him a babyface right now. (...) Whatever's gonna happen, he's gonna be a part of SummerSlam. There's no way he's not showing up, Coach," Carlucci said.
Coachman and Carlucci also discussed the possibility of The Rock returning at WWE SummerSlam and helping Solo Sikoa dethrone Cody Rhodes. It would be interesting to see whether the expected comebacks would happen.
