The original Bloodline could reunite in WWE to take on Solo Sikoa's Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown. Meanwhile, Sam Roberts spoke highly of Main Event Jey's work in the Stamford-based promotion as a singles star.
Jey Uso reinvented himself as a singles star in the Stamford-based promotion after he cut ties with his family on Friday Night SmackDown. Main Event Jey has established himself as a bonafide megastar of Monday Night RAW and the 38-year-old star is firing on all cylinders.
Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, WWE personality Sam Roberts addressed Jey Uso's current run in the company. The 40-year-old host stated the company is aware of Jey's rising stardom and taking its time with the star. Moreover, he spoke highly of the former 10-time Tag Team Champion:
"I don't think that the frustration is unfounded. I think they're taking their time with Jey Uso. I don't get the feeling remotely that they're not going all the way with Jey Uso. Every two weeks, he's got a new t-shirt, he's got his own entrance, he gets his own promo, he gets backstage segments, and he gets to come through the crowd. Clearly, WWE is aware that they have something special with Jey Uso. He's incredible. I mean the way he relates to people and Jey Uso is a giant star who deserves the whole world, Roberts said. WWE personality doesn't want Jey Uso to quit his singles run
Jey Uso made one of the most difficult choices of his career when he decided to cut ties with his family after their actions at WWE SummerSlam 2023. The 38-year-old star left Jimmy Uso and The Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown and got a fresh start on Monday Night RAW.
The birth of Main Event Jey took the star to new heights as a singles performer and many are against the idea of Jey Uso reuniting with the original Bloodline, including WWE personality Sam Roberts.
Speaking on Notsam Wrestling, the host pitched a major idea for Main Event Jey as he wants him to eventually win the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther at WrestleMania 41. Moreover, he's open to seeing Jey help out his brothers, but shouldn't end his singles run over it.
