The son of legendary boxer Evander Holyfield, Elijah Holyfield, recently made his WWE in-ring debut. It was during a taping for an upcoming series called WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats).

Evander Holyfield is a major name in the combat sports industry. His controversial boxing match against Mike Tyson in 1997 is still spoken about over 20 years later. The Real Deal won the heavyweight championship four times during his career, more than any other boxer, including the late great Muhammad Ali.

His son, Elijah Holyfield, is a former American football player. The last team he played for was the Cincinnati Bengals. However, he seemingly retired from the sport two years ago after a serious knee injury. The 27-year-old went on to sign with NXT in November 2024, where he's training to become a professional wrestler.

He has his first match during a taping of LFG, which took place before this week's episode of NXT. The match will air on A&E as part of the upcoming series.
