Sonya Deville fires shots at Adam Pearce and popular WWE faction in Christmas message

WWE Superstar Sonya Deville recently shared a social media update to fire shots at RAW General Manage Adam Pearce and Damage CTRL. The 31-year-old is the mainstay of her faction, Pure Fusion Collective, which also features Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.

The trio attacked Kairi Sane backstage on the December 16 edition of RAW, taking her out of the Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament. This week on the red brand, the group confronted Adam Pearce, asking him to replace the injured Sane with Deville. However, the GM revealed he had already replaced The Damage CTRL member with her stablemate IYO SKY.

Earlier today, Sonya Deville took to Instagram Stories to reshare the backstage segment while sending a message to Adam Pearce and Damage CTRL. She wished a Merry Christmas to everyone except the 46-year-old and the rival faction.

"Merry Christmas to everyone BUT ADAM PEARCE... and Damage Control 🙃👉🖕," she wrote.

Sonya Deville delivers a strong message after not being included in the Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament

Triple H revealed the brackets for the inaugural WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship tournament earlier this month. Surprisingly, Sonya Deville was not added to the mix.

This led the Pure Fusion Collective member to share a video on X/Twitter ranting about her absence. Deville stated that she had been fighting her entire life and deserved the opportunity to compete for the title. She further questioned Dakota Kai's inclusion despite her frequent injuries.

"When that is all I've been doing for my entire career, actually my entire life is fighting. Because I'm a fighter. And I don't just mean in the ring, I have literally overcome things. But I don't sit here and brag about how much I deserve things. You have Dakota Kai in the tournament, now we are applauding her so much because she has come back from her fourth injury in four years, and that is something to brag about now? While Pure Fusion Collective's Shayna Baszler lost her first-round match, Zoey Stark will face Dakota Kai in the Semi-final on the December 30 edition of Monday Night RAW. It will be interesting to see if she can go past the Damage CTRL member to move one step closer to her first title win on the main roster.
