Sonya Deville broke character to share an important message ahead of this week's episode of WWE RAW. The veteran is currently in the Pure Fusion Collective faction alongside Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark on the red brand.
Deville shared a video on Instagram to speak about the "Not Alone Challenge." She noted that she wanted to raise awareness for mental health resources and that sometimes there is a stigma around getting help.
Deville shared that most people dealing with mental health issues never get help, and that was something that she wanted to change. The former Women's Tag Team Champion also encouraged fans to make their own video to share their stories about mental health as well.
"You are not alone 🖤 Link in my bio for resources and help. We are all human we all bleed and we all cry, let’s support each other and spread support and awareness, you never know what someone is going through but sharing your story could be the support someone else needs right now," wrote Deville.
Former WWE writer Vince Russo claims fans will not pay to see Sonya Deville's faction
Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently stated that WWE fans would not be paying to see Sonya Deville's Pure Fusion Collective faction.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo poked fun at Deville's faction. He suggested that they were using a bouncer's gimmick and that fans would likely never pay to see Pure Fusion Collective live.
"We got our new bouncies, bro. Did you catch our new bouncies? Oh my God, bro. You got Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville, and Zoey Stark. That gimmick [is] what they do now? See that gimmick? They put their guns in. Bro, that's worth the $200 ticket. Let me run to the cash machine. Let me get my 200 bucks so I can see these three yahoos put their guns in the middle. What are you, nuts?"
