Special guest Hardy botches AJ Styles' introduction on SmackDown and gives him a hilarious new nickname

AJ Styles is back for the first time since saying "I Quit" against Cody Rhodes a few months ago. Musician, Hardy was there to open SmackDown and introduce him, but the nickname he gave Styles caught everyone by surprise.

AJ Styles is known as "The Phenomenal One" and has been for several years now. Hardy, who you may remember as the musician from the 2023 Royal Rumble who played a live version of his song "Sold Out," was in Nashville.

In a hilarious moment, he introduced AJ Styles as "The Phenomenal forearm" instead of "The Phenomenal One". This, of course, was instantly noticed by everybody watching, with even Corey Graves hilariously remarking "he's more than just a forearm."

It was a hilarious botch but a slip of the tongue is not an unnatural occurrence at live events. Either way, fans were excited to see The Phenomenal One (not forearm) back in a WWE ring after months and in the process, he instantly turned babyface again.

He was also confronted by a young star who he hadn't crossed paths with before, Carmelo Hayes.

It's going to be interesting to see what the future holds for Styles. Many believe that he is getting closer to his retirement with each passing day.
