There was a Fatal Four-Way Match to determine the number one contender for Gunther's World Heavyweight Championship on this week's edition of WWE RAW. The episode of the red brand was pre-taped in Saudi Arabia tonight, ahead of the telecast at its usual timeslot on Monday night.
Seth Rollins, Damian Priest, Sheamus, and Dominik Mysterio competed to determine the next challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship on RAW. During the match, The Visionary connected with a Pedigree on Dirty Dom and seemingly had the bout won. However, Bronson Reed interfered and hit a Splash on Rollins through the announcer's table. Reed also attacked Sheamus during the match.
Damian Priest was then able to win the match by pinning Dominik Mysterio to earn a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. The Archer of Infamy and The Ring General had a staredown after the former emerged victorious in the Fatal Four-Way clash.

Former WWE writer reacts to hypothetical match between Gunther and Brock Lesnar
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on a hypothetical match between Gunther and Brock Lesnar.
The Beast has not appeared on WWE television since his SummerSlam 2023 loss to Cody Rhodes. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran suggested that he wouldn't be interested in seeing the World Heavyweight Champion battle Lesnar due to the way the company had booked the champion so far.
"They haven't done Gunther any favors like I said by being afraid to wrestle Sami Zayn. I mean that's what I am saying bro like I told you on the other show, I am so confused by some of the stuff they do man. And that's the problem now Mac, because of the way that they booked Gunther, when you tell me Brock Lesnar, and bro I am a fan of Gunther. I really am bro. When you tell me Brock Lesnar, I am like Brock Lesnar will kill this guy, based on the way they've booked him," he said. [From 02:43 to 03:13]

Cody Rhodes defeated the 37-year-old last night at the premium live event to capture the Crown Jewel Championship. Only time will tell if Damian Priest can defeat his major rival to become World Heavyweight Champion once again in the weeks ahead on WWE television.
