This week's edition of WWE RAW was taped today following Crown Jewel 2024. The premium live event took place at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2.
A Battle Royal will take place on the upcoming edition of the red brand to determine Liv Morgan's next challenger for the Women's World Championship, due to Rhea Ripley's current injury absence. During the pre-taped match, WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill chased Liv Morgan through the crowd after the latter prevented them from winning the Battle Royal.
Morgan's bodyguard Raquel Rodriguez got involved and tried dragging Belair out of the ring by her braid to eliminate her from the match when Cargill came to her partner's rescue. The champion then got involved and helped Rodriguez eliminate both of them together.

The final two stars in the Battle Royal on RAW were IYO SKY and Lyra Valkyria. The Genius of the Sky picked up the victory by eliminating Valkyria and is now the number one contender for the Women's World Championship. The crowd in Saudi Arabia chanted "You deserve it!" following her statement victory.
Rhea Ripley was involved in a rivalry with Liv Morgan and would have possibly faced the latter for the title once again, but she was written off television following an attack last Tuesday night on WWE NXT. Raquel Rodriguez and the Women's World Champion attacked The Eradicator with baseball bats in the parking lot. It was later reported that Ripley has a fractured orbital bone and will be out for the foreseeable future.
Popular WWE star teases dream match against Rhea Ripley
SmackDown Superstar Tiffany Stratton recently disclosed that Rhea Ripley was her dream opponent in the promotion.
The Buff Barbie was not in action at Crown Jewel but did tease a Money in the Bank cash-in during the Women's Crown Jewel Championship match between Nia Jax and Liv Morgan. In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling earlier this year, Stratton named Ripley as her dream opponent and shared that she would also like to battle Morgan.
"I wanna face Rhea Ripley," Stratton said. "Rhea Ripley is my [dream opponent]. I would say my number two, Rhea Ripley when she comes back and when she's healthy [is number one], and Liv Morgan [is number two]." [1:14 – 1:24]

IYO SKY is a former WWE Women's Champion but lost the title to Bayley at WrestleMania XL. It will be interesting to see if the 34-year-old can capture the title from Liv Morgan in the weeks ahead.
