Stephanie McMahon stood down as WWE Chairwoman and Co-CEO and left the company in 2023. However, a WWE analyst thinks she may return to play a new role on TV.
Since her departure, The Billion Dollar Princess has attended several WWE shows. She also kicked off Night Two of WrestleMania XL to announce the start of the "Paul Levesque Era" in the Stamford-based company. However, her husband, Triple H, recently clarified that Stephanie "does not have an official role right now."
On his Cheap Heat podcast, WWE analyst Peter Rosenberg recently addressed the possibility of seeing The Billion Dollar Princess return to the company to become an on-screen authority figure. While he pointed out that part of him feels the former SmackDown General Manager may never do that again, the 45-year-old claimed it is still possible.
"I don't know if she has any interest in ever doing this again. Part of me feels like she's not gonna do it. I don't know. I don't know. I think it's Triple H before it's Stephanie but she has been showing up to stuff more. You do see Stephanie around more. So, you know, certainly it could happen," he said. [32:34 - 32:53]

Peter Rosenberg thinks Triple H should become an on-screen authority figure in WWE
While Peter Rosenberg is skeptical about whether Stephanie McMahon would be up for another on-screen role, he thinks her husband, WWE CCO Triple H, should return to TV to play an authority figure. The Game has been focused on his real-life job as head of Creative while Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis lead RAW and SmackDown on-screen in their respective roles as General Managers.
On his Cheap Heat podcast, Rosenberg claimed Triple H becoming an on-screen authority figure while still holding on to his real-life executive position would blur the line even more between reality and storyline.
"More than just the shoot press conferences, which he [Triple H] does a great job in by the way, you can still do that. That's the beautiful thing. Because they've eased him into this real role now, the line will be so blurry if he becomes a TV character again because now he's been this real thing. So, you're like, 'Wait a second, what's going on now?'" Rosenberg said.
The 45-year-old also suggested that Triple H should get into a 'power struggle' storyline with The Rock. It would be interesting to see if The Game or his wife, Stephanie McMahon, would return to TV as on-screen characters.
