Rhea Ripley sent a heartfelt message to Jey Uso after he captured the WWE Intercontinental Championship. In the main event of RAW, Jey defeated Bron Breakker and ended his first reign as champion at 51 days.

Jey and Ripley have often flirted with one another on WWE television, even during the latter's days in The Judgment Day. Following Dominik Mysterio's betrayal of Ripley, the two officially allied, with Jey even teaming up with Damian Priest on RAW.
On Twitter/X, Ripley sent a heartfelt message after Jey won the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The Eradicator claimed that the newly crowned champion deserved his moment after grinding for 14 years on the main roster.

The WWE Intercontinental Championship has already changed hands thrice in 2024. At WrestleMania XL, Sami Zayn defeated Gunther, ending his historic reign at 666 days.
Zayn's fourth reign as the Intercontinental Champion ended at the hands of Bron Breakker. At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Breakker defeated Zayn to win his first major singles title on the main roster. The 26-year-old star successfully defended the title once before dropping it to Jey on this week's Monday Night RAW.
