SummerSlam marked a turning point in one of WWE's most gripping sagas as Dominik Mysterio turned on Rhea Ripley to help Liv Morgan. While the kiss cemented the new romantic alliance, Teddy Long wants to see how their relationship develops moving forward.
The storyline was the main topic on the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, and Teddy Long, like the majority of fans and pundits, praised WWE's booking. Long said everything was a movie these days, and wrestling storylines, too, needed decisive moments that changed the course of the narrative, pushing performers to go "all out."
Dominik Mysterio kissing Liv Morgan has set the stage for an amazing mixed tag team showdown, which Teddy Long believed had the makings of being a huge draw for the WWE. Here's what the WWE legend told host Mac Davis:

Many may have seen it coming from a mile away, but Dominik Mysterio screwing Rhea Ripley over in SumerSlam's opener was a massive moment. Mysterio proved again why he wasn't entirely trustworthy and now seems inseparable from Liv Morgan.
The WWE Hall of Famer felt that the job was only half done as he wanted to see more out of the angle involving Liv Morgan and Dominik, with potential twists in store.
He continued:
"I want to watch how Liv and Dominik come together. They just did the kiss, but now I need to see the togetherness. I need to see what's really going on here. So, I want to watch for that, and then we'll know which way they're going." [4:06 - 4:24]
