Wrestling legend Bully Ray has commented on one major challenge that Zelina Vega faces with her in-ring work. He believes that when she's in the ring with a top female star, WWE higher-ups might be concerned for a major reason.
The LWO member challenged Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship on an episode of RAW, but she was unsuccessful. She challenged Rhea Ripley for the same title last year at Backlash and was defeated. Vega recently sent out a tweet on X stating that she has always heard that her height was holding her back, but she still wants a chance to prove herself.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray stated that Zelina Vega's small stature may be a huge challenge for her in the ring, especially when she's against major stars in the women's division. He thinks that it concerns the WWE higher-ups, which results in start-and-stop pushes.

"Zelina is a very tiny woman in stature. When you're that small, your physicality can only look so real, and I think that's where the problem lies. How are we going to get Zelina in a ring with the real deal main-eventers in the women's division? ... Zelina has an amazing look. She's doing so much better on the microphone, she has a commanding presence, but once the bell rings, I think that's where the WWE might be concerned, and that's where they hit the gas. Two weeks ago on RAW, Zelina and Liv Morgan collided for the Women's World Championship. Last week, she teamed up with Rey Mysterio to take on Dominik and Liv Morgan in a mixed tag team match, which they lost.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, Vince Russo claimed that nobody cares about the feud between the two female superstars.
"You've got, you've got Liv Morgan and Zelina Vega. Nobody cares. Nobody cares about Zelina Vega and Liv Morgan. Absolutely."
Liv Morgan is currently set to defend her Women's World Title against Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam.
