Cameron Grimes made a name for himself on NXT, where he rose in prominence to become one of the top stars in the company. He even won the NXT North American Championship and the Million Dollar Championship.
However, ever since his promotion to the main roster, Grimes hasn't been in the spotlight, fading away from the eyesight of the WWE Universe. Last week, on the blue brand, he popped back up and was involved in a backstage altercation with Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, which set up a match for tonight.

However, he was attacked by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso during his entrance tonight. This was a way for The Bloodline to get back at Nick Aldis for booking Roman Reigns in a Fatal Four-Way match at the Royal Rumble against LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles.
Cameron Grimes was beaten down so badly that the match was canceled.

It remains to be seen if this is a sign of things to come for tonight's episode of SmackDown.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
