The Bloodline's Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa lost their titles on WWE SmackDown

Earlier this year, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, aka G.O.D. signed with the Stamford-based promotion and joined Friday Night SmackDown. The two became the latest addition to Solo Sikoa's Bloodline following WrestleMania.

Later, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga won the WWE Tag Team Championship from #DIY. However, Solo Sikoa made a detrimental change and ordered Tonga Loa to take the title from The Samoan Werewolf.

The team had a few successful title defenses against the Street Profits and #DIY on Friday Night SmackDown. However, the landscape of the tag team division changed when the Motor City Machine Guns arrived on the blue brand.

Immediately after becoming the new number one contenders, the Motor City Machine Guns were confronted by The Bloodline. This led to an impromptu title match for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Unfortunately, The Bloodline lost the titles when Jey Uso interfered and took out Tama Tonga with a steel chair and a spear. The two iterations of The Bloodline are now set to go head-to-head in Saudi Arabia.
