Jey Uso was recently unsuccessful in winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. At Backlash France, he failed to beat Damian Priest, but the former Bloodline member is seemingly set to receive another title shot. Drew McIntyre has now reacted to the announcement.

On June 28, Jey will receive a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, according to Madison Square Garden's Instagram handle. The announcement caught Drew McIntyre's attention, and he sent a two-word message.

McIntyre is set to challenge Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle. The Glasgow show is scheduled for June 15. Meanwhile, MSG has announced that The Archer of Infamy will put his gold on the line against Jey days later.

On Instagram, McIntyre reacted to MSG's announcement with an explicit message.

"The f**k," wrote McIntyre.

McIntyre shares a storied history with Jey. The multi-time tag team champion recently pinned the Scotsman in a Fatal Four-Way Match to earn his shot at Priest's championship.

Drew McIntyre has been feuding with CM Punk for months. At WrestleMania XL, Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship. Following a brawl between the superstars, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on The Scottish Warrior to win the title.

On the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts claimed Punk would interfere in McIntyre and Priest's bout at Clash at the Castle. He said:

"We know that Gunther, the King of the Ring, gets his World Heavyweight Championship match. I believe that the World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam will still be Damian Priest. I believe CM Punk will cost Drew McIntyre the title in Scotland."

At the 2022 Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, McIntyre failed to win the Undisputed WWE Championship from Roman Reigns due to interference from Solo Sikoa. The Enforcer prevented McIntyre from winning the gold in the UK.

The Scottish Warrior, who recently re-signed with WWE and extended his stay with the Stamford-based company, will aim to win his fourth world championship in Glasgow.
