The Miz has opened up about making WWE history in a very unfortunate way. The A-Lister teamed up with R-Truth and Braun Strowman in a loss to The Judgment Day last night on WWE RAW.
R-Truth and The Miz (Awesome Truth) won the World Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania XL. However, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh captured the titles last month on the red brand with the help of Liv Morgan.
The veteran took to social media today to react to having the record for most losses in the history of WWE. He shared a graphic with a stat that he has 1,335 losses, but he actually has 1,337 now. The 43-year-old noted that Michael Jordan has missed plenty of shots but is still regarded as one of the best. He then promoted WWE Legends: The Miz airing this Sunday night.
"Success is measured over a career, not by bad days. Derek Jeter struck out 1,800+ times but he’s still one of the greatest. Michael Jordan has missed more than 9,000 shots but is still one of the best. Moral of the story I wish I would’ve known 20 years ago. There’s going to be wins. There’s going to be losses. You can focus on the losses or celebrate the wins that make you legendary. Sunday July 14th 8/7c Biography WWE Legends: The Miz premiere," he wrote.

WWE Hall of Famer recalls heartwarming gesture from The Miz
Wrestling veteran Teddy Long recently shared a story about The Miz switching seats with him on an airplane.
The Hall of Famer noted that he ran into The Miz on a plane and the RAW star switched seats with him so that Long could be in first class. Long stated that he will never forget the gesture.
"I'll never forget something he did for me. I remember one time, I don't remember where we were going, but I got into the place and passed by The Miz, who was in the first class; I passed him by to get to my coach seat. And The Miz got up from his first class seat, and he changes his first-class seat with me. I told him he didn't have to do that. I said I'm fine, but he was like, 'No, no.' And he did do that for me," said Teddy Long. (3:17 - 3:37)
The Miz has had a very impressive career as a professional wrestler. It will be interesting to see what lies ahead for the 8-time Intercontinental Champion on RAW.
