The New Day could be a cause of concern for other heels in WWE, claims wrestling legend after RAW

ECW legend Tommy Dreamer recently spoke about The New Day's appearance on RAW this week. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods kicked off this week's episode of Monday Night RAW.

Woods and Kofi couldn't utter a word as they were booed by the fans in attendance. Later, Jey Uso came out and tried to calm the fans down. The audience still kept chanting "New Day s*cks", drowning out any sound that came out of Kofi or Xavier.

This week on the Busted Open podcast, Dreamer mentioned that New Day was getting nuclear heat from the fans. He pointed out that Kofi and Woods hadn't even gotten physical with any of the babyfaces. He felt the duo would emerge as top heels in 2025 and the other roster members should be worried that they could take their place.

"I enjoyed the segment but most importantly New Day has really changed their career and done their turn differently. They did it new. And what have they really done? They just hurt you with their words. Wait till they start taking out your WWE Superstars. If done right, these two guys could have the most amount of heat that I've seen in a long, long time. Former New Day member Big E will be on the RAW post-show

It will be a historic moment for WWE next Monday as RAW debuts on Netflix. The show is set to emanate from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will be on the special announcement team for the show, while Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore will be part of the post-show. The duo will be joined by former WWE Champion member Big E during the broadcast. E will also be part of other WWE programming on Netflix.

It will be interesting to see what Big E has to say about his former buddies after being humiliated and ousted from the group a few weeks ago.
