Kingston and Woods have not been on the same page for the past few weeks. This has affected their performances during their matches. Things reached their breaking point two weeks ago after an embarrassing loss to Alpha Academy. Kofi and Woods said some hurtful things to each other.
Last week on RAW, The New Day celebrated their 10th anniversary, but it looked like they were about to announce their split when Big E made a surprise appearance. He tried to motivate his stablemates and even offered to be their manager. However, Kofi and Woods wanted nothing to do with Big E and questioned where he had been when they needed him most. They even refused to hug him, leaving Big E feeling heartbroken.

Tonight on the red brand, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods made their way into the arena and were in high spirits. However, many of the staff members gave them the cold shoulder. They even tried to greet Alpha Academy and Natalya and were ignored, indicating that many people backstage didn't like their actions last week.
It will be interesting to see if The New Day will be able to get back to their winning ways with this new attitude.
