"The only person that could ever pull that off" - Legend on Seth Rollins' extravagant referee outfit

Seth Rollins has done it again! The former WWE Champion's choice of attire always divides the wrestling world, though Tommy Dreamer seemed to have loved what he saw on RAW.

The final Monday Night RAW before SummerSlam opened with Rollins walking out in one of the most over-the-top iterations of a referee's outfit you'd ever see. He will officiate Drew McIntyre and CM Punk's match at SummerSlam, and the segment, which also involved the warring rivals, was a thrilling back-and-forth that added more layers to the storyline.

However, Seth's referee costume grabbed a lot of eyeballs during and after the show. On Busted Open's post-RAW show, Tommy Dreamer addressed Rollins' "puffy" referee shirt and admitted that the RAW Superstar was probably the only person who could look good in such clothes:

"Here comes Seth Rollins in the flowing, puffy shirt of stripes. I don't know who could look good in that, but the only person that could ever pull that off would be Seth Rollins. All the way down to his big** boots, kind of stealing that KISS Gene Simmons attire, those giant boots, and he looked sharp!" [3:38 - 4:00]

Tommy Dreamer also shared his thoughts on RAW's opening segment and explained the uniqueness of the angle.

He continued:

"To steal the line from the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, 'You can't crack the whip with me!' But, I feel both men cracked their whips at each other, did it intelligently, they also did it kind of building each other up and also tearing each other down. It was unique." [From 4:44 onwards]

Tommy Dreamer praises the promo skills of Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins

With three bonafide ex-world champions in the ring, the segment involving McIntyre, Punk, and Rollins was bound to deliver some intense moments with just days left for SummerSlam. Tommy Dreamer put Drew McIntyre over massively and noted that since extending his WWE contract, the Scottish Warrior has been the best on the microphone in his entire career.

Dreamer always enjoyed watching CM Punk speak, and despite Seth Rollins' character, the Visionary had also proven to be quite proficient with a mic in his hand:

"Drew McIntyre literally has been cutting the best promos of his career since he re-signed with WWE. This last year of Drew McIntyre has been amazing. CM Punk has always been great on the microphone. Seth Rollins is so over-the-top entertaining, but also another guy." [4:29 - 4:43]

With Rollins as the referee, Drew and Punk's highly anticipated SummerSlam showdown will surely not be straightforward, and fans should expect one or more twists before the final bell.
