The Rock appeared on WWE RAW's debut episode on Netflix and commented on who he acknowledges as the original Tribal Chief, along with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. They are all part of the Anoa'i family wrestling dynasty.
After Cody Rhodes defeated The OTC in the main event of WrestleMania XL, Rock went on a hiatus for several months. His cousin Solo Sikoa replaced him as The Tribal Chief during his absence. The former NXT North American Champion stole the Ula Fala, kicked out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman, and added new members to the group.
Roman Reigns returned to WWE and declared himself the only Tribal Chief. On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, The Rock revealed which side of the fence he was sitting on. During an in-ring segment, he stated:
"I wanna acknowledge one other man, and that's my cousin Roman Reigns. Not only is Roman Reigns the Tribal Chief, but he is the original Tribal Chief," said The Rock.
The Great One snubbed Solo Sikoa, who believed he was the Tribal Chief since he possessed the Ula Fala. While Roman is the Tribal Chief, The People's Champion is legitimately the High Chief.
