The Rock has recently become a hot topic in the WWE world, with his WrestleMania 41 status still unknown. While many would expect The Final Boss to show up, he is a busy man with many commitments.
The Hollywood icon recently announced one such commitment, which happens to be close to the Netflix premiere of Monday Night RAW. The Rock will be presenting at this Sunday's Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. It is a 20-minute drive from the Intuit Dome, the setting for RAW one day later.
The Great One took to his official Instagram handle to confirm he will be at the Golden Globes while also reacting to Moana 2 being nominated for Best Animated Picture:
"We CHEE HOO’n all night this Sunday 🥂 As always, I’ll have fun presenting, but more importantly - having MOANA 2 nominated for Best Picture is so special and humbling, as it represents this global embrace of our Polynesian culture and people. As the character, 'Maui' and producer this is a very cool and special night. We say it loud and proud," he wrote.

So, while he hasn't announced it, The Rock's appearance at the Golden Globes could directly lead to his WWE return. The Final Boss has appeared once since the night after WrestleMania 40, where he confronted Cody Rhodes. He showed up at the end of the Bad Blood premium live event after The American Nightmare teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat the new Bloodline.
The WrestleMania 41 main events depend on The Rock
Despite all the teases, it isn't known if The Rock will have a match at WrestleMania 41. If The Final Boss does wrestle, it will likely be in the main event of Night Two against Cody Rhodes. This would cause a ripple effect across the main event portion of the 'Mania card.
The American Nightmare is scheduled to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena at WrestleMania 41, with plans set to change if The Final Boss decides he will wrestle. In that case, The Cenation Leader would likely face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship instead.
