The Rock has confirmed his return to WWE for RAW's debut on Netflix. An analyst for the Stamford-based promotion suggested The Final Boss' comeback could only be for one major reason.

The 52-year-old legend was last seen in October when he made a surprise return at Bad Blood. He made a cryptic, seemingly threatening gesture to Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Cody Rhodes before leaving. As The Rock confirmed his comeback for the premiere of RAW on Netflix, Sam Roberts addressed the different reasons he could be making his return for.

The 41-year-old analyst stated on his Notsam Wrestling podcast that while The Rock might not get involved in the Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at all, he could be returning to the red brand to decide who he thinks should be The Tribal Chief. Meanwhile, the RAW Talk host claimed The Final Boss might be coming back just to get acknowledged as The High Chief by the winner of the Tribal Combat Match:

"I mean, obviously, the first thing that pops into your head is he's gonna make his presence known in Tribal Combat whether it's during the match so he can dictate who wins or whether it's after the match so he can let whoever wins know that, 'Yes, you are The Tribal Chief but The Tribal Chief needs to acknowledge The High Chief.' Is he just there to get acknowledged by whoever The Tribal Chief is? Did he decide himself who he thinks should be The Tribal Chief? Is he not gonna get involved at all?" Roberts said. The WWE analyst thinks The Rock's return may have spoiled The Tribal Combat's result

Roman Reigns will fight Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala and Tribal Chief status this Monday on RAW. Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts claimed The Rock's comeback could mean that the OTC would emerge victorious.

The RAW Talk host added that Reigns' victory could lead to a feud with The Final Boss heading into WWE WrestleMania 41:

"What we're seeing here is that there is this potential for Roman to almost be done fighting this new Bloodline and on The Road to WrestleMania, maybe this become about The High Chief and The Tribal Chief and who is the one to represent this culture in the WWE," he explained.

Reigns has previously pointed out that he could have a WrestleMania match against The Rock if the latter was open to it and the WWE Universe also wanted it. It will be interesting to see if it comes to fruition later this year.
