NXT is set to make a big transition to the CW Network on October 1. With this move, NXT will also be going on the road, with the first show set to take place in Chicago, Illinois. Considering Chicago is CM Punk's hometown, The Straight Edge Superstar will be making a special appearance on the show.
Tonight on NXT, Punk was impressed with Giulia's WWE in-ring debut and informed Ava that he would get in touch with her about an idea he had for the newest NXT Superstar. Later on in the show, Ava was seen on a call with Punk. The NXT GM then told Stevie Turner and Robert Stone that Punk would be making an appearance next week on NXT to make an announcement about the October 1st show on the CW Network. However, the NXT GM didn't provide any further details or clues as to what The Straight Edge Superstar's announcement will be about. However, considering the timing of Punk's message, it could be regarding Giulia.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
