The Rock's daughter Ava makes major WWE announcement

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's daughter, Ava, recently made a major WWE announcement during the NXT Deadline 2024 Premium Live Event. The 23-year-old was also interrupted by a major SmackDown name.

NXT Deadline showcased some of the best matches of 2024. The show started with a bang as Je'Von Evans, Wes Lee, Ethan Page, Nathan Frazer, and Oba Femi put on an incredible display of action in the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge. Some more big names were in action in their respective matches, including Lola Vice, Trick Williams, and Giulia.

However, before the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge, which was the main event of the show, NXT General Manager Ava made a major announcement. The Rock's daughter revealed that the winner of this bout would go on to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at New Year's Evil in Los Angeles, California, on January 7, 2025.

During the announcement, SmackDown Superstar Tiffany Stratton showed up to set her sights on Perez's title, teasing a possible Money in the Bank cash-in at New Year's Evil.

The Women's Iron Survivor Challenge featured Sol Ruca, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Zaria, and Wren Sinclair. All the women involved in the match put on an incredible performance and many people believe it could be one of the best matches of the year.

The bout ultimately ended in Giulia's favor and she is now set to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at New Year's Evil.
