The Rock has taken to social media to send a message to the fans. It was speculated that he would make a surprise return to WWE on SmackDown.
Earlier in the night, a rumor was that The Great One was spotted in Buffalo, where SmackDown was held this week. While that turned out to be false and from earlier in the year, there's speculation that he will return soon. The former WWE Champion made a shocking comeback to the company at Bad Blood, and he's expected to compete at WrestleMania 41, even though it hasn't been confirmed yet.
The Rock recently shared a message on Instagram regarding his upcoming movie, Red One, which will be released on November 15. Sharing a clip from his press tour in the UK, he thanked all the people who worked hard to make it happen and the fans.
"Around every corner, this tour’s been electric, full of positive energy and a real vibe. There’s a pulse, that’s hard to explain. Thank you to everyone working hard and nonstop, and most of all thank you to ALL the fans. Enjoy the movie this weekend," he wrote.
The Rock still has unfinished business with Cody Rhodes, and he wasn't pleased when he saw The American Nightmare and Roman Reigns on the same side at Bad Blood.
