Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson recently took to social media to share a personal update amid rumors of his potential return to WWE. The Final Boss hasn't been seen on the Stamford-based promotion's television since Bad Blood 2024.

At the start of this year, The Brahma Bull made his electrifying return to World Wrestling Entertainment and gave fans one of the best storylines alongside Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. After feuding with Cody Rhodes, The People's Champion went on hiatus from WWE television due to his commitments in Hollywood.

Before leaving, Rocky promised that he would return soon to restart his feud with The American Nightmare. Following Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes' win over Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood 2024, The Rock made a surprise appearance. The Final Boss was seemingly unhappy with his cousin for teaming up with Rhodes.

The Great One stared at The Original Tribal Chief and The American Nightmare before heading backstage. Since then he hasn't been seen on TV. However, reports suggest that The Great One could return for RAW's Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, but nothing has been confirmed as of today.

Amid uncertainty over his return, The Rock took to Instagram to share a video where he was seen enjoying the holiday season while watching Home Alone with his kids. In the post's caption, The Brahma Bull sent Christmas greetings to his fans.

"Christmas movie night in pj’s with the babies 🍿🎄Like every Christmas, I vote to watch Bad Santa, Goodfellas, or Scarface, but for some reason I keep getting overruled. 'Merry Christmas ya filthy animals' 🎅🏾😈🥃," he wrote.

WWE legend wants The Rock to be involved in The Bloodline storyline in 2025

During an edition of the Busted Open podcast, WWE legend Mark Henry said he wished to see more stuff related to The Bloodline on television. The Hall of Famer also mentioned that he wanted The Rock to be involved in his family's story in 2025.

"I want more Bloodline. I wanna see The Rock being involved in The Bloodline," he said.

It remains to be seen what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for The Rock's impending return.
